Yerevan, May 17. /Mediamax/. U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Matthew Bryza, said that the United States optimistically assesses the possibilities of reaching an agreement on Nagorno Karabakh between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the U.S. Congress May 16, Matthew Bryza said that “today the parties are closer to the agreement than before,” Mediamax reports quoting ITAR-TASS.
According to the U.S. official, the governments of two countries should show political courage to overcome the remaining disagreements. “We believe, the coming several months will provide real opportunities,” Bryza added. –0– |
