| International Conference “Between Caspian and Black seas: new challenges and possibilities for the South Caucasus” began in Yerevan yesterday.
Yerevan, October 21. The third international Conference “Between Caspian and Black seas: new challenges and possibilities for the South Caucasus”, organized by the Center for Strategic Analysis “Spectrum” with the financial assistance of NATO Public Diplomacy Division and Foreign Ministry of Finland, began in Yerevan yesterday.
Problems of security of the Black Sea and Caspian Sea region, its role and place in the system of international security, problems of the Caspian Sea, urgent issues of modern geo-politics and economy are planned to be discussed during the seminar. Two round-tables on “GUAM: expectations, perspectives and reality” and “New challenges and possibilities for the South Caucasus” will be held within the framework of the conference.
Dr.Burcu Gültekin, European Coordinator of the Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council is also among the speakers.
Independent experts and political scientists from 16 countries, as well as representatives from NATO, OSCE, Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), research centers of Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Iran and Russia are participating in the conference. |
