Opening Armenian-Turkish border will not harm Armenia’s economy,
Minister of Trade and Economic Development says -01.08
Yerevan, August 1. /Mediamax/. The opening of the Armenian-Turkish
border will not harm Armenia’s economy, Minister of Trade and Economic
Development Karen Chshmaritian said in Yerevan today.
At the same time, the minister noted, it is necessary to count all the
possible economic consequences than might appear as a result of opening
of the Armenian-Turkish border.
According to the estimations of the World Bank experts, the annual
damage caused to Armenia’s economy because of Turkey’s closure of border makes
more than $500 million. |
