Russian Armenians realize first business mission to Turkey

At the invitation of Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council (TABDC), a group of Russian Armenian businessmen traveled to Turkey from March 25 to 30, 2002. This was an historic first visit to Turkey for these entrepreneurs and provided an introduction to Turkish trade and industry leaders.

The Russian Armenian delegation, representing diverse sectors such as tourism, construction and media, had productive meetings with their Turkish counterparts and agreed to continue to develop these new connections in the future.

It was agreed that the main focus of cooperation will be to establish an information networking structure to enhance communication and trade between Russia, together with its neighbors in the Caucasus and Central Asia, and Turkey and to establish a joint project to support the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation process.
