Armenian FM and US State Secretary paid special attention to the problem of Armenian-Turkish relatio

Oskanian and the U.S. Secretary of State Collin Powell paid special

attention to the problem of the Armenian-Turkish relations at the

meeting held in Tbilisi on January 25.

“Vartan Oskanian and Collin Powell gave a positive assessment to the

existing Armenian-Turkish dialogue and highlighted the important role of

the USA in securing the practical results of this dialogue,” the press

service of Armenian Foreign Ministry informed Mediamax today.

The sides discussed the situation in Iraq. Vartan Oskanian confirmed

Armenia’s readiness to take an active part in the process of Iraq

restoration, particularly, in technical and humanitarian spheres.
