There is no concrete agreement on holding the meeting of Armenian,
Azerbaijani and Turkish FM’s, Yerevan says-19.09
Yerevan, September 19. /Mediamax/. “There is no concrete agreement on
holding a trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan
and Turkey,” spokesman for Armenian Foreign Ministry Hamlet Gasparian
told Mediamax today.
Hamlet Gasparian said this commenting on yesterday’s statement by
Turkish Ambassador to Baku Unal Cevikez that the meeting of foreign
ministers of three countries is planned to be held after presidential
elections in Azerbaijan.
Armenian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman stated that during the first
trilateral meeting of Armenian, Turkish and Azeri FM’s in May 2002 in
Reykjavik the parties spoke of the intent to continue the contacts in
this framework.
However, Hamlet Gasparian said, the ministers have not yet agreed on the
terms of holding a new meeting. |
